•  MD(Hematology) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka. It is a postgraduate degree in hematology under MD Residency Program which is a five-year extensive course; Phase-A (2 years) in Medicine Allied and Phase-B (3 years) in Hematology with research work (Thesis).
•  PGT on Medicine (6 months) from NIDCH.
•  PGTon Medicine(6 months) from Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital.

Experience:

•  Former Registrar, Senior Registrar & Senior Specialist- Dept. of Hematology & SCT (4 years, 02/12/2017 to 10/11/2022)- Apollo Hospitals Dhaka & Evercare Hospital Dhaka (Only JCI Accredited Hospital in Bangladesh)
•  ConductedAutologous SCT (25 patients), Full HLA Matched Allogeneic SCT (12 patients), HaploidenticalAllogeneic SCT (3 patients) along with BMT team
•  Long experience in management of Inpatient, Outpatient, Day-care, Emergency and Bone Marrow Transplant patient with blood disorder
•  Expert in treating with Chemotherapy, Immuno Therapy, Targated Therapy, Salvage Therapy, Conditioning Therapy and other special medicine for Blood Disease, Blood Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant
•  Conducted more than 180 Bone Marrow Aspiration with Trephine Biopsy (age range 1year to 80+), more than 130 Lumber Puncture & Intra Thecal Chemotherapy (age range 1year to 70+) •Examining the blood & bone marrow slides as well as interpretation of other hematological test results
•  Conducted different aphaeretic procedures, Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, Auto & Allogeneic Stem Cell collection and Cryopreservation with other team members

• By the grace of Almighty Allah, for the first time Hematology Department started journey at BIHS General Hospital since 1st January 2022. Now consultation facilities for Anemia, Thalassemia, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Bleeding & Coagulation abnormality, Genetic & Congenital Blood Disorder, Bone Marrow Transplant, etc. – all available in Hematology Department of BIHS General Hospital.
•  Different Hematology Laboratory services including Bone Marrow Aspiration, Trephine Biopsy, Intrathecal Chemotherapy Procedures, etc. all are now available at BIHS General Hospital.
•  Hematology Department has been providing standard quality of services in a reasonable cost through Outdoor, Indoor & Day Care facilities for the patient suffering from Blood Diseases & Blood Cancers.
•  Hematology Department upgraded the Transfusion Medicine Services; & now different type of blood components- RCC, Washed Red Cells, Platelets, FFP, etc. all are available.
•  Authority has been taken initiatives to establish an international standard modern cancer hospital having facilities for Bone Marrow Transplant and other modern treatment and diagnostic options.
