- Procedures Conducted: Autologous SCT (25 patients), Full HLA Matched Allogeneic SCT (12 patients), Haploidentical Allogeneic SCT (3 patients) along with BMT team
- Experience in Patient Management: Long experience in managing Inpatient, Outpatient, Day-care, Emergency, and Bone Marrow Transplant patients with blood disorders
- Expert in Treatment: Expertise in Chemotherapy, Immuno Therapy, Targeted Therapy, Salvage Therapy, Conditioning Therapy, and other special medicines for Blood Diseases, Blood Cancer, and Bone Marrow Transplant
- Bone Marrow Procedures: Conducted more than 180 Bone Marrow Aspirations with Trephine Biopsy (age range 1 year to 80+), more than 130 Lumbar Punctures & Intrathecal Chemotherapy (age range 1 year to 70+)
- Slide Examination & Interpretation: Examining blood & bone marrow slides and interpreting other hematological test results
- Apheresis Procedures: Conducted Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, Auto & Allogeneic Stem Cell collection, and Cryopreservation with other team members

- By the grace of Almighty Allah, for the first time Hematology Department started its journey at BIHS General Hospital on 1st January 2022. Now consultation facilities for Anemia, Thalassemia, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Bleeding & Coagulation abnormality, Genetic & Congenital Blood Disorder, Bone Marrow Transplant, etc., are available in the Hematology Department of BIHS General Hospital.
- Different Hematology Laboratory services, including Bone Marrow Aspiration, Trephine Biopsy, Intrathecal Chemotherapy Procedures, etc., are now available at BIHS General Hospital.
- The Hematology Department has been providing standard quality services at a reasonable cost through Outdoor, Indoor & Day Care facilities for patients suffering from Blood Diseases & Blood Cancers.
- The Hematology Department upgraded the Transfusion Medicine Services, and now different types of blood components – RCC, Washed Red Cells, Platelets, FFP, etc., are available.
- Doctors, Nurses, Technologists, and other Healthcare Providers are receiving training from the Hematology Department.
- Authority has taken initiatives to establish an internationally standard modern cancer hospital with facilities for Bone Marrow Transplant and other modern treatment and diagnostic options.

- Joined many National & International Seminars, Symposiums, and Workshops.
- Conducting regular monthly MDT Meetings over the Zoom platform from BIHS General Hospital.
Research/Publication
- Fifteen National & International Publications, including Original Articles, Case Reports, and Abstracts; two as first authors and thirteen as co-authors.
